The general public is invited to pick-up free tickets for the public rehearsals, masterclasses and recitals of The Perlman Music Program Winter Residency by visiting the USF Sarasota Manatee Rotunda (8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34243) beginning Wednesday, December 1, 2010.

The majority of free events will take place in the performance tent located on the USF Sarasota Manatee campus between Tuesday,  December 28 and Friday, January 7. CLICK HERE for addresses and maps of LOCATIONS.

A limited number of free tickets will be made available per person for in-person pick-up in order to maximize public accessibility to attend daily events.  These tickets are for general admission and only a finite number are distributed for each event.  The public is encouraged to attend their choice of events regardless of ticketing as 15 minutes prior to the beginning of an event all remaining seats become available to non-ticket holders.  All seats are available on a first-come basis.  A variety of daytime and evening events will be scheduled.

UNABLE TO PICK-UP FREE TICKETS?

As a special THANK YOU to contributors to The Perlman Music Program/Suncoast, the following additional ways to gain access to public events are offered:

• Become a sponsor and receive a personalized lanyard providing access to reserved VIP seating at unlimited free events.
• Become a member  and pick up a lanyard at the first free event you attend to receive access to up to 8 free events of your choice in addition to reserved membership seating (Reserved seating based upon availability). 
• Purchase Celebration Concert Tickets and receive your choice of free event tickets through the mail (Maximum 6 free tickets per Celebration Concert ticket purchased; Based upon availability).     
  
 

MORE ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE TENT… 
With great thanks to John and Ellen Cavanaugh of Super-Sensitive Musical String Companyfor sponsoring the performance tent at USF Sarasota Manatee this year.  

The tent is equipped with a performance stage, folding chairs with backs for audience members, sidewalls for ventilation, and heaters for especially cool days, all events are considered to take place outdoors and audience members are encouraged to dress appropriately, including wearing comfortable footwear.  A paved walkway is provided for ease of mobility of all audience members including those needing to use wheelchairs.  Most audience seating is located on a level site covered in grass.
